La Prairie facial moisturizer on board
6 x 8 inches each

The paintings from the series 'The Pasture' faintly depict 4 x 6-inch pastoral landscapes on 6 x 8-inch boards primed with traditional gesso. The images are based on the 18th-century painter Thomas Gainsborough's work. Instead of paint, the medium is the facial moisturizer 'Advanced Marine Biology Night Solution' by luxury Swiss skincare company La Prairie, which developed and built a proprietary above ground aquaculture that mimes the conditions of the deep ocean in order to harvest free-radical-fighting botanicals. 'The Pasture' captures landscapes after having passed through capitalism and emerged on the other side. Each painting contains approximately 18ml of 'Advanced Marine Biology Night Solution.'

The full titles of the paintings, from top to bottom, are: 'The Pasture (Wooded Landscape with Cattle by a Pool and a Cottage at Evening)'; 'The Pasture (The Harvest Wagon)'; 'The Pasture (Evening Landscape: Peasants and Mounted Figures)'; 'The Pasture (Peasant and Donkey outside a Barn)'; 'The Pasture (Landscape with Rustic Lovers)'; 'The Pasture (Wooded Landscape with Figures, Donkeys, Pool and Cottage)'; 'The Pasture (Landscape with Cattle)'; 'The Pasture (Wooded Landscape with Mounted Figures)'; 'The Pasture (Wooded Landscape with Rustic Lovers)'; 'The Pasture (Wooded Landscape with a Cottage, Sheep and a reclining Shepard)'; 'The Pasture (Landscape with Haymakers)'; 'The Pasture (The Watering Place)'; 'The Pasture (The Woodcutter's Return)'; 'The Pasture (Gainsborough's Forest)'; "The Pasture (Holywells Park, Ipswich)."
