Phosphorescent powder; 600 5" x 7" postcards

location: Socrates Sculpture Park, New York

'Intercut' consists of two intersecting 4-inch lines of phosphorescent powder at Socrates Sculpture Park in New York. If extended beyond the Park, they would respectively connect the graves of Harry Houdini and Gloria Swanson, and Theodore Roosevelt and Fulton J. Sheen. Postcards distributed on site depict a bird's eye view of the area and lines. Rather than constituting an object in Socrates Sculpture Park, 'Intercut' approaches the Park as an object in a larger context, which the artwork then demarcates. The project is a collaboration with Cletus Dalglish-Schommer,
